Sounds like a great buy. I bought a 92 745T month or so back w/ 170K on it. It was a one owner, and pretty well cared for - body straight - drive train perfect. Paid 4350 for it - so I think yours sounds really good.

Here are a couple of hints for you. Watch that radiator. It is probably the original - and I am sure it is plastic. Mine busted over the 4th of July weekend in GA. Had to make two trips to Atlanta on the MOnday following to get the right replacement. Ended up being one supposed to fit a 940.

On mine (a turbo) - there are two hoses that come off of the oil mounting filter plate - to an oil cooler. Check these. They get overlooked at the local Jiffy Lube. Mine burst on me a couple of weeks after I got the car, and it ran pretty hot - developed a head gasket leak. Barr's Leak fixed that - but I would have rather it never happened.

In both of these situations it was the age on the car - not the miles.
