Where is my horn? 700

I recently purchased a 1990 740 GL auto from a smoker. One horn button worked poorly, the other one didn't work at all. Observing airbag cautions, I popped the plastic covers off and cleaned both sides of the bowed metal plate underneath each botton. Lots of cigarette ash. The one that worked poorly continued poorly, now doesn't work at all. The other that never worked still doesn't.

So, I'm moving to the horns themselves. I can't find them! Not by the grill, headlights, wiper fluid canister, carbon unit (?), battery or anywhere. I assume I'm looking for something coiled like a snail, about as big as my fist. Thanks!
