How do I replace the clamp that holds the cat to the rest of the exhaust? 200 1982

In an attempt to make the removal of my catalytic converter easier I chose to hacksaw the bolts that tighten the clamp that holds the cat to the rest of the exhaust system. Now it seems the bolts are part of the clamp, or at least are now after years of exposure. I am not sure if the cut ends of the bolts can be removed from the clamp, so I am wondering if the clamp itself can be removed and replaced or if it is a standard piece of the exhuast that comes as part of the pipe. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on what I could or should do?
Thanks
