Where do I go from here--Mass Flow Sensor 200 1986

Hello all-I'm a complete newbie here.

I have a 1986 Volvo 240 Wagon -odometer broke at 117,000 that was six years ago--the car is great and is used mainly for Home Depot runs--have been able to drive home 16 foot lengths of pressure treated lumber in the back of this puppy.

I recently replaced the Mass Flow Sensor--but I still can't get the engine to start--it's cranking but doesn't catch. My question is what should I investigate next--- I know it's a huge question -- however, I'm a virtual freshman when it comes to fixing cars but I'd like to learn more and this volvo will be where I practice--I guess I'm wondering what I should check next.

Any advice would be great

thanks again

cje
