More exhaust manifold questions 900 1994

Thanks for the answers to the previous post. I've seen pictures of the manifold and how it lines up with the ports and something still seems fishy. It is off so much that about 1/3 of the exhaust port on the head is blocked. In addition, while the exhaust ports in the heads are "centered" between the studs, they are offset on the manifold.
The head may have been replaced at one time, but with what? The engine is supposed to be a B230 FD (Anybody know what the "D" stands for?) IS there any way to identify what the head is? It seems unlikely that there would be any other head that could have been fitted, but the way it is, it looks likely that it will start leaking again in no time. Would there be a difference if the car is Canadian? (Not sure if it is, but a Volvo told my friend that they are different) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bob
