Clutch hydraulics left me stranded. 700 1988

The subject line says it. Now I know why the transmission was shifting a little harder yesterday in stop and go traffic.

This morning the pedal had a bump in it when I pulled out of the driveway and after I filled at the station I had no clutch. Dripping from the slave cylinder. 190,140 miles was all she had to give.

I caught a ride and had the car towed home where I'll get under it tonight and see what's what. Prices I've found on a new MC & SC are in the $90-$100 range from advertisers here.

Sound about right? Anyone know of a source for rebuild kits or should I just go new given the age and mileage?

More to come.
