I have aquired my second Volvo 740 in two weeks.I am running the first,the second was a freebie.The free one is a turbo and the owner said they stopped driving it because it smoked so badly.(233k)I think that some seals are gone in the turbo dumping oil into the exhaust.Can/should the turbo system be removed to run the car as is otherwise?I wanted to keep the engine/trans as a spare,so I ask you.Is this a parts car I can utilize,or is it a unit to fix on the cheap and sell?
