When replacing rear main seal..other needed repairs? 900 1992

posted by  someone claiming to be Double E on  Fri Aug 1 16:08 CST 2003 [RELATED]

I did mention this to him and he felt if everything was ok with the tranny he preferred not to disturb. Is the tranny seal the next thing to go? What is the life span on tranny seals? And in disturbing this area will this cause future problems? Please advise.
