intake manifold removal

I am still trying to remove my intake manifold. I have removed all sorts of stuff and have found the remaining nut that must be removed. It is under the number 3 intake and I have no idea how to get a wrench or socket in there to remove it. Is it necessary to remove the starter motor in order to access this thing from underneath? Are there any tricks? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
