Almost like a new car !! 700

OK well I checked the timming and found that it was sitting on about 0-2btdc. Its supposed to be 12btdc right? toward the pass side of the car. I ajusted it to between 10-12. Car runs great now. Lots of throttle responce, like its a new car!!!
I do have about a 2deg float in movement of my mark. Is this normal? Now of course it does not run pefectly smooth and I may still have a little bit of vacum leak that may be un acounted for. But is this somewaht normal?
I did still notice a slight glow on the manifold but nothing like I saw the other night. I think if I move it 2 more deg and bring it to the full 12 I may be a little better. I think its more like 10 now then the 12. But man what a big difference.
Any more suggestions?
