Upper Taillights Out-Bulbs OK 200

The left and right upper tailights are out on my 93 240. Bulbs are good and if I use the + voltage wire that feeds the bottom tail/brake light the top lamp illuminates which makes me thing there's something wrong with wire that feeds the top tail light. I've searched the archives and didn't find much info.

Does anyone know if this is a common problem/solution or a likely spot to start troubleshooting wiring.

Thanks in Advance,
