Piston Slap 700 1986

We have a '90 744 Ti that had 155,000 miles and piston slap when we bought it five years ago. The tech who checked the car out for me said it had the typical turbo piston slap.

Now at 233,000 miles, the engine sounds exactly the same to me. It does quiet quite a bit when it warms up, although it does not become as quiet as our '88 NA was.

I have never heard it run in a garage, although I'm sure it would sound louder if I was worried about it.
