Why on earth would you weld a B230FT head?

Just go down to your local junkyard and pull a head from a non-turbo
(hopefully it will have seen less wear). Have your preferred machine shop
clean up the new head. Swap in the exhaust valves, camshaft, and maybe
the appropriate sensors into the new head. You may want to have the shop
swap in the valves and camshaft.
