Rear Shock Spacers for Bilsteins? 200 1986

I'm installing new Bilsteins on ther rear of my wagon. I got the old Monroe Gas-Matics off and it looks like the mounting on their lower end is about 4mm narrower than the Bilsteins, so the spacers I have are 4mm too long. So I'm wondering if perhaps whoever installed the Monroes also installed a larger spacer when they did it. Or are there special spacers that you need when you install Bilsteins? Surely not!

Local dealership says they don't have the part. :(

Anyone else experienced this problem before? I'm about to go check all the local autparts stores, since it seems like a pretty generic thing to carry.
