Intermittent no start in '92 745t 700 1992

Still having intermittent start problem. I've resoldered and then replaced Noise suppression relay and fuel pump relay. Crank sensor was replaced 4 months ago and fuel filter is also about 4 months old. Plugs are relatively new and all belts and head gasket were replaced about 3 months ago.
Mechanic had car for 4 days and it started every time for him, he suggested replace ignition control module so we did, 2 days later it didn't start.
Last time it wouldn't start (it cranks over but won't start) I kinda wiggled the key and it started! Sounds to me like it's the ignition switch, has anyone else seen this? Should I just replace the electrical portion and not the whole cylinder?

thanx
Ian
