I hear you. I'm not partial as far as color but I love the 242. It is my constant little gripe that Volvo dropped the 2 door. It's getting harder and harder to find the good ones. I'll try and get a couple of more pix in the gallery. Have to get it put back together first. Maybe when I take the trip I'm wanting to I can get some good shots. I think Monument Valley would make a good backdrop. Or Sequoia National Park.
There is or was a picture somewhere in the IPD website of a carlsbad yellow 242 with the wide grill and Oregon plates. My car was from Oregon originally. I don't think the pic is my car because it was owned by a little old lady from Medford. But it sure looks like mine.
