245 GLT Oil Capacity?????

Yes and no. My NA 245, my turbo 744, and my NA 940 all take/took 4 qts per basic oil change (drain oil, replace filter, re-fill). All three cars have the same engine, (B230) as yours. But - if you also drain the oil from the oil cooler on your turbo (which the turbo versions have but NA don't) you have to add another "0.63 qt". I don't know if many people drain the oil cooler as part of a normal oil change procedure, I never have. But if you do, or if you have the cooler drained for some other reason, you would need the extra 0.6 qt or so.
BTW the Haynes manuals for the 240 and 940 include this info. Rare to find something in Haynes that is not in the Bentley bible.
