transmission vibration 200 1982

When I shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear, the car vibrates..then shifts to 3rd gear, it vibrates...In the past, the only vibration came from between 1st and 2nd gears. What do you think it may be? I am afraid if I send the car to the shop and find more work on it and cost me money. If I find a specific problem, then the mechanic can fix from there and save money..Know what I mean?
