Engine failure caused bad knocking sound 200

A couple of weeks ago I cleaned my carb and replaced jet and needle.
I accidently dropped a small bolt into the intake manifold (without knowing).

I started the engine but after driving 50 ft it started to knock so I turned it off.


I have removed the cylinder head, removed the little bolt (almost flat) and inspected each valve. I noticed some marks on the piston top and also in the cylinder head right above the piston. I smoothed the marks with som emery paper and put the head back (new gasket of course).

The knocking sound now has been reduced a great deal, but the engine still sounds strange. I have taken her for a test ride to see if the sound gets worse for example in high gears at low speeds, but the knocks seem to be there all the time about the same strength level.

What should I check next?
The crankshaft bearings and piston rod bearings?

Which parts are designed to be "the weakest" in case of a "accident" like mine?
