760 turbo intercooler 700 1989

i'mlooking to purchase an old wagon but i didn't wat to go past 92' in th 740 or 940 I came upon 760 89' but when i opened the hood only 4 wires the car was loaded with features but i don't know anything about it . should i stay away from like the 960 or some 850 or is it a great engine.
