Hello I am still considering the purchase of a 1994 Volvo 960 sedan and am looking for ANY information on modifcations available for the car. In a response to my last post I was told that there are not many but I am looking for a little bit more detailed info on what is available.

I am thinking in the area of Brakes, suspension, performance, and looks.

I would like to upgrade the brakes on the car to cross drilled and/or grooved (Preferably both if I can find a godd quaklity set that is not as likely to crack) as well as upgrade the standard rubber hoses to steel braided. Replacing the calipers also crossed my mind but if I can get away with using the stock calipers I would like to at least for the time being.

For the suspension I would like to get a front strut bar and rear sway bar, if wither are available for this car. And I am also interested in hearing any technical details as to swithing out the Nivomats with a higher performance shock-spring combination. Generally any suspension info (what can AND can not be done) would be greatly appreciated as this is area I am most interested in improving.

Performance I am interested in items such as chip upgrades, ECU upgrades, performance exhaust systems, and better intake solution (from a better filter to a complete intake system)

And finally anything to improve the look of the car. Such as doing the european headlight conversion (if anyone has any before and after pictures of a conversion that would be awesome). I am also very interested in new rims. What aftermarket companies make rims for the 960 as well as what other Volvo rims will fit on the 960 (I am thinking in terms of the T5R rims from some of the newer models or just some of the general nicer looking rims produced by volvo) and again here if anyone has any pictures of 960 modifications that would be appreciated. And finally any websitre links to rim maufacturers that allow you to see the rim on a graphic of the car would be cool. Tirerack offers this feature but they do not have any pictures of the 960 on file
