Broken exaust stud, one wasted day, and a very unhappy person, head question 700

Ok....If you havent had to deal with a broken exaust stud CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKEY!! 1990 765 turbo, I picked up this car, and quickly found many things overtightened, and with the cam belt replacement, found a broken exaust stud. sooo, i want to throw my Garret T03 turbo on this weekend, and throughly red the FAQ's, took of the exaust manifold, and decided after an entire day of drilling, and breaking drill bits, I dont want to screw with an old head anymore. I have the head off my 85 765 turbo, with a VX cam in it. One simple question, are these heads the same from 85-90. They look pretty much identical, mut I just want to pick a few brains before I put the other head on and have problems. Since the other head has a 10,000 mile old valve job, id rather just use that. Its going to the machine shop tomarrow, just to double check everything. But like i said, just wanted to make sure they are the same. Thanks in advance!!!
