Help Timimg Belt Change 200 1991

Replaced Timing Belt Today, not finished yet. When I found TDC, using distributor and Cam Pulley, crank accesory belt pulley mark was clockwise of zero.
When I took this pulley off, the nptch on the t-belt crank pulley flange is clockwise of the mark on the casting(just to make sure, is it the raised line on the casting?).
Car ran before(but not like my 740, not as peppy), and I don't think I moved anything.
Should I put it back together like it was, or set it properly(set the pulley marks to the right places?
Can I hurt the engine if I get it wrong? What will happen?
