Crank Seal Experts, A little help, please? '94-944 900

I just didn't buy this car, I rescued it. Among other things it had a square cog belt and this car uses the round cogs.

I had it all wrapped up and going, drove it for a mile before an oil change, and found that the crank seal that I just put in was leaking. I bought front seals from Swedish Engineering. (Strange, I asked for Volvo seals and I received Elring.) This is my second seal job and the crank seals were a pain. This one was so much tougher than the Scantech seal from FPCG, though.

I had put the seal into place by hand (several times) and kind of beat it in using the old seal and a piece of pipe. I had used a circular piece of mylar to make sure the lip didn't curl. That wasn't the problem. The bottom edge of the outside diameter was damaged during the installation. This Elring crank seal seemed a little to tight. The aux and cam seal went in without a problem.

I'll have to make or buy a press tool. From the FAQ: "There is a special Volvo Tool (PN 9995025-5) that is used to press the oil seal into place." Has anyone used it? Is this better than a homemade press tool? Does anyone know where to get it from and how much? I have to replace this seal again before it gets on the road and I will have to do the rear seal on my son's car later and I want to do it only once. Any help is appreciated.
