Car dies after 20 minutes of driving - then won't restart until waiting 20 to 30 minutes 200 1990

I've had it with this car. I am now convinced that VolVos are crap and are constantly having troubles. The car is a 1990 240DL with 127,000 miles. Within the last 15,000 miles I've changed:
Starter
Alternator
Water Pump
Main Fuel Pump
Fuel Pump Relay
Overdrive Relay
Distributer Cap
Rotor
Plugs
Wires
Fuel Filter
Air Filter
Reset Throttle Position Switch
Cleaned Throttle Body
Various other accessory components.
New shocks
Rotors
springs
electric antenna
Volt meter
Oil pressure gauge

Bottom line: The car never ever ran right for long. I bought it with 105,000. Now the problem is this. The car will start fine. Run fine. Idle fine. But after 20 or thirty minutes it just dies. All the warning lights come on and it stops running. It then will not start again. Wait 20 or thirty minutes and it restarts with no problem. It's like it needs to cool down before restarting. I am assuming that since this is a 1990 there isn't a Hall Sensor. Could this be a bad FPR? I will try to swap it out with a new one. If this doesn't fix the problem I intend to sell this piece of crap for whatever I can get for it and stay far away from VolVos forever.
