What to do? 740 Snapping. 700

Hi everyone, first off, thanks for all the help in the past. I have an odd problem with my 744, it only seems to happen under this scenario. Im parked head first beside my garage, when leaving the home, I back up and turn into the driveways turn around, except the turn around is too small, so I usualy go on the lawn. Because Im on an angle, one tire is on the pavement the other on the grass (so they are on different levels, if that has anything to do with it) Then I put it in drive and start turning the wheel to go up the driveway. After a foot of travel after putting it into drive and bringing all tires on the pavement I hear this very loud snap sounding comming from what seems to be the rear of the axle. I just know that if i bring it to a mechanic they will never be able to reproduce the sound. Does anyone have any ideas of what the problem is, or a way to diagnose the problem so I can reproduce it at any time.
Thanks.
