AC stops running when its 115 (F) Degrees out on '96 960 900

Not sure if this is the only solution, but we installed a Nartron variable orifice tube on our 95 960 when we had similiar problems to yours. As the pressure in the system builds when the engine is under load, a fixed width orifice tube simply can't handle the flow of refrigerant and warm air blows. With the variable orifice tube, as pressure builds, the tube can respond and allow greater flow keeping the tempwerature consistent. This would be my thought FWIW. - Good luck with it!
