No Spark... Won't Start...940 Turbo Wagon 900

Hello everybody. My 1993 940 Turbo Wagon left me on the side of the road last week. There was little warning other than a loss of power at low speed turning into a driveway the day before it died. It started back up immediately.

The next day I lost power coming to a stop, and again it started back up. Six miles down the road at 45 miles per hour it killed again, check engine light
came on and the tach buried at zero while I rolled into a parking lot.

I realized I had no spark from coil and the coil was out of specs regarding resistance. I changed the coil, and put new wires on (coil wire has not been
changed yet.. it didn't come with the OEM set).

I can't find any loose or otherwise bad connections and I've read the FAQs and searched the forums. I am showing 12 volts at the coil on the side terminals. The tach doesn't budge while I turn the engine. I have read about people having problems with RPM sensors and cam sensors and various relays. Any suggestions on where I might do best to start?

Thanks, AG
