240 Leaky sunroof.... possibly 200 1984

Hi. My wife drives an 84 240GL and since we bought it i've noticed the front floorboards are getting wet when it rains. Originally i assumed it was the windshield seal since ive had that problem before but while driving it the other day in a pretty heavy downpour and noticed water running down the pillars on both sides of the windshield. Well, it looks to me like water is getting trapped in the headliner and running from the back down the pillars into the floor. I am wondering if the sunroof could be the problem. I've ruled out the front glass at this point and basically i am wondering if this is the sunroof - how can i fix it and how simple is it to fix. I can work on cars but i'm not the best in the world. I just want this fixed to avoid future problems. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks - Greg
