headlight covers/engine washing 700 1989

Two part question, I saw a 760ti at a friend's dealership today. It had clear lexan covers over the headlights and turn signal marker lights. They were actually good looking, non-obtrusive and seemed like they would do a good job protecting those expensive lenses. I haven't seen these for sale anywhere and he told me they were on the car when he traded for it. Anyone know where these can be found.
2nd part. I found the small hose from the intake nipple to the flame trap "t" clogged on my 740 GL today. Replaced it and want to see how much that did to stop those annoying little oil leaks. But, the one time I took a car wash wand to a Volvo engine, don't remember if it was my 760 or one of the 240's, it really didn't like it! Almost failed to start afterwards and ran rough for almost a day. Haven't done it since and a friend who's been driving Volvos many more years than I have says they don't like being power washed. Is this anyone else's experience?
Thanks for all the help in the past here on the forum
Ben
