stumble when first going from cold start 700

Less than a year. I botched the job myself trying to remove the nut(tore into the filter with vice grips... the nut was sooooo tight) and had my indy guy change the filter along with some other stuff.

He also ordered a new front filter/pump cap/hose assembly thing from Volvo (its an all in one part) and put it in as well (old hose broke).

I don't think its the filter though... if it were I would either experience an immediate stumble and multi-crank start (no fuel at rail) or a fast crank and long stumble in idle (fuel IN rail, none in hose). It will idle fine, although it MAY race just a tad from time to time (around 1000-1100) before it settles down (30-40 seconds or so).
