She's Alive!! 900 1992

Vicki (my '92 965) is running on all 6 cylinders again! The problem ended up being a bad power stage...and some human error. #5 wasn't firing because the power stage went bad. The reason it was still misfiring under load after I changed the power stage was because in the process of diagnosing the problem, I accidently mixed up the leads to the #5 coil (product of working too late at night and in the dark). Switched them back and it runs like it's brand new.

I'm going to buy the second power stage and just replace it as preventative maintenance. These things apparently just go dead without any warning (as did mine) and I would rather not have the other one decide to go in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks again,
Lance
