URGENT - niece buying 740 - a few problems - need advice

Hi
My niece is thinking of buying her first Volvo - a 91 740 NA / 172K.

It supposedly has all records and has been garage kept.

Well, they try it out for a spin and the shifter will not come out out park without reaching in and pulling the release under the shifter. This is each time they put it in park.

Then the power windows will not roll back down. They were working - rolled down, then up - but now not. Relay - perhaps?

Anyway - please let me know if these are just smaller annoyances - or the worst case it might be.

Thanks for all your help. I have been bragging Volvo to her for a spell, and I want her to get a good one. I gave her a few things to look for. Now these things just need to be resolved.
