Cruise control not working after changing electronic ignition switch 700 1991

1991 740

I followed the advice of Brickboard members and changed out the electronic ignition switch to fix the dead spot to the electric circuits when the engine started. No more dead spot. Thank you.

But now there's a new problem. After installing the electronic ignition switch and going for my first ride, the cruise control is not working.

Two years ago, the cruise control failed and you guys told me to check if the stop lights were working (they weren't) and to change out the red relay--and that fixed the problem. The stop lights are presently working as are all other lights and electrical systems.

Any ideas on what may be the problem?

Allan
