will a AW71 fit on a B21F

I have the magnificant BW55 3speed uneconomical sludge box. I live in Ca. and the folks out here drive an average of 70 85mph, at cruising speed on the freeway my tach sits at 3500 to 4200 rpm. my gas mileage is 22MPG. I am in the mind set of updating my tranny with one that has OD. My brick is a 1980 w/ the B21F. I was wondering if an AW71 was plug and play.
