HELP! Instrument Cluster Problems - ' 200 1988

Don't start jumping up and down yet. I have only a possible clue to just two of the syptoms you describe.

Regarding the "thermostat" (temperature gauge?) and erratic fuel gauge -- there is a "voltage stabilizer" in the instrument circuits, which affects only those 2 instruments. The idling the accellerating thing could enter in here too (possible voltage variations).

As to the clock and odometer, I can't find anything common to those 2 in the Bentley wiring diagrams.

And I have no clue how a rearbrake job relates to any of these instrument problems.

Good time for someone really smart to chime in.
