The simple answer is you want too much for it. Try about $4K. 700 1990

I also have a 90 744T with only 133K on it. Lowered/IPD springs, Bilsteins, IPD swaybars, new turbo 5K ago, newish Alpine CD head unit and CD changer. Converted front end to 90 760 Euro/German headlights with foglights and 760 grille. Even four new tires. But I wouldn't sell it for $4K...it's too good a commuter car and easily tops 120. A 68K 1990 744T just won't be worth much anytime soon for other than a beater.

Sounds to me like your best bet is to donate it at your inflated (go ahead and inflate it a couple thou more, take some pics and hold onto documentation for the IRS audit if it comes down to it) price and take the deduction.
