jerking problem 900

hello there,

I own a 1994 model 940gl volvo without turbo and ABS. Currently I am facing a problem with my volvo and I have changed couple of stuff and yet the problem is not solved. The problem with the car is the car starts to jerk after waiting in the traffic jam for a long time. The rpm starts to fluctuate up down between 750 to 500 and couple of times the car engine has died in the midst of a traffic jam but on a rainy day, the car does not jerk eventhough i am stuck for couple of hours. So far i have changed plug cables, oxygen sensor that is near the air filter and many other things. Please advise me and if there is any queries please e mail to me.

Regards
dev
