Very odd acceleration..'87 760 Turbo w/109k 700

Well I have to say the BrickBoard is GREAT...I have already have received very good info from other postings.

My current Volvo is 1987 760 turbo wagon (a 240 before).

Problem(s?)-
Car was running very well this week until this afternoon...left the store, started right up, engine temp still normal/ AC climite control was on with AC running like normal...pull up to stop sign, see a break in traffic and push down on gas pedal normally--car bogs, no shudder or balk- just no go!!! After getting the other drivers not to kill me (only curse me) I get in the turn lane...car running smoothly and note no trans. slipping etc.
When light changes push down hard to get car to move 5 mph. Shut off AC climate control and in a moment engine gathers itself up and away we go. While still accelerating I turn on AC with no problem or real drop in power. In fact as I merged on to the highway I did a kickdown pass with and w/o AC and was smooth as silk...today was in the upper 90's with very high humidity like it has been for several days.Temp gauge normal...boost gauge moves into yellow.

Weird! the car has been OK but today @ stop sign/light----suddenly no power, very slow acceleration...however turn off AC and normal solid engine power kicks in. The car shifts and downshifts ok and this lack of power shows up nowhere else in the driving- very smooth kickdown for passing, merging etc. But the car hardly moves at all when this happens from a stop!

when I got the car it did need some TLC so a review of work done so far-

Good compression in all 4 cylinders.

AC would not work- Bosch control relay fix, great suggection from this board!--full evac. and recharge R12 works great.

Fails Oil cap jiggle test- but please note: cap is plastic and I did fixes below. No leaks, or smoke just a little plus pressure.

I have cleaned the tubing/connections/nipples etc. all associated with "flame trap" issues...except removing the oil return line from the turbo itself (tomorrow) to see if it has deposits (will install new gasket and O ring).

New coil/cap/rotor/wires/plugs...no known vaccum leaks now (visual and propane test).

Complete auto trans flush.Used the IPD kit.

All rotors were below spec. So a complete brake job all 4 rotors replaced.

New Boge rear shocks- IPD

New High output Halogen headlights...etc.,etc.,etc.

Thanks in advance for your help and ideas.
