new gauges 700 1989

Interested in adding an oil temp and possibly a vacuum gauge to my 98 740 GL. Not neccessarily stuck just on Volvo gauges but do want them in the cluster. Anyone taken a cluster apart enough to add gauges? Looks like two spots to add gauges in upper left and upper right. Would also consider a "real" temp gauge with markings since I still beleive the 740 has compensation also.
