More about my rear TAB's. oh what fun. 200

1988 244 167K

Thanks for everyone's advice with my previous post about the spring.

Here is what I have come up with.
The 22mm bushing bolt is sooo tight that I just cannot get it loose, got all the way up to there and had to put it all back together again. Did manage to throw in a new Bilstien shock however. Don't ask me about the other side...I have been shooting PB blaster on these parts for 4 weeks prior, roughly about 12 times total.

Here is what I have decided.
1. I will not submit to the tune of $450 -$550 to have someone else do it, I don't have it anyway, hence why I choose to do it myself and for the satisfaction of not being defeated.
2. I am going to try it again in a week or so with air or electric power sockets to get the rusted and heavy torqued bolts loose. I will need to rent the equipment. Any tips please lend them!
3.I will eventually post a triumphant message and join the list of rear TAB masters!
4.Finally, buy myself a nice tall cold guiness pint!

Again, if anyone has any more tips, feel free to lend them!
Cheers,
Chuck (freakin rustbelt!)
