oil pan drain bolt 200 1985

Hi everyone. Today, I went to go change the oil in the Vo. The oil pan drain bolt is mighty worn out. it has barely an edges and is rounded off. I spent two hours trying to get the dang thing off with a 15" crecent, vise grips, and even tried filing the bolt to get the edges back. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I'm hoping I don't have to take the oil pan off and replace it... I dread the possibilities of that. Tomorrow, I'm going to take it down to the Valvoline quick lube and see what they say. I looked around everywhere for a new bolt, no luck, so I picked several up at the good ol' junkyard. I figure that it's only $10 more to have the oil change place to replace my oil. Any ideas? I feel ashamed about using the same old bolt for so long and tightening it up too much. Thanks in advance everybody!
