Is Ebay a good place to look for Volvo's?

I think ebay CAN be a good place to look for Volvos but you or a representative
really need to look at the car before buying. A picture may be worth 1000
words but is only a start in describing a car and ebay vendors are not known
for the quality of their photographs. Many are so poor that you can barely
identify an item, much less tell exactly what and how it is.
I have bought one car on ebay and inspected one for someone else, both of
which were bought at my recommendation. Both were within 50 miles of me
so it wasn't too much of a problem to check them out.

I've heard quite a few horror stories from people who bought something on ebay
that fell far short of expectations. If you can't really check a car out,
don't bid/gamble more than you can afford to lose.
