r12 to 134 different approach

The question isn't between whether it "works" or not. They work, but the conversion is not proper. Some cars will last a long time like that, and some will die within weeks. Any car that has no R12 left, is never going to have a "perfect" conversion unless the system is repaired, which the Wal-Mart kit does not do.

The problem is that a lot of the people who try this, aren't telling you and I how their systems are destroyed. And there are a lot of those people. The name "death kit" exists for those kits for a reason.
