940 not running 900 1994

I would like to thank all of you who have helped me with trying to get my car running again. It quit after a panic stop and I couldn't get fire from the coil. I didn't have a code from socket 6 and changed the RPM sensor and the power stage, checked every connection I could find. After 4 weeks of this, I succumbed to a tow truck ride to my local Volvo shop. He worked on it for two days and found a bad connection at the ECU. He wouldn't be specific about it, for the usual reasons. And, uh, I got what I paid for (ouch!)
If anyone has a similar problem, I suggest a very thorough inspection if this area, which is a pain, up under the dash. For now I'm happy but leery of this car. Prone to electrical problems that leave me stranded?
In any case, I'll probably be back here often as I try to get my '84 240 turbo back up to snuff.
Thanks again to this board.
Mark
