I was visiting the deceased Volvos in the junkyard yesterday, when I noticed something about a later model 240 ('91) that I had never noticed before. The knee bolster (i believe what it's called) below the steering wheel was different from the one on my '85. This one was made out of a hard plastic material or such, as mine is just a cheap looking cardboard with some fuzzy material on it. The hood release was also different, and I almost couldn't find it. The '91 in the junkyard was REALLY nice, and I felt bad to see it in the yard like that. I thought this looked really nice on the later 240, and would like to transfer the look onto my car. Would it be possible for me to swap this from the '91 to my '85? Thanks.
