Funny you guys should mention that. My machinist recommended Felpro also. It turned out that the OEM gasket installed many years, but not many miles, ago, was seeping coolant into a couple of cylinders.

I've compared Nissan OEM and Felpro head gaskets for the L6 Z engine and prefer the Nissan OEM gasket for its sophisticated design and impecable manufacture, but Felpro has excellent standing with the Datsun Z crowd.

Felpro has a convenience feature - you can order the kit. With Volvo it appears that you must order each piece separately.

Thanks for the tips! I'm gonna stay away from low compression gasket as you have recommended.
