I'm 16 and want a volvo

Thanks for feeding back your experience. Knowing more than the seller is always a good position to be in. I have met a couple of curbside dealers along the way, and I have always been sorry I wasted my time with them. Glad your experience was a good one.

I like your idea of washing a prosepctive car to get to know it. When we went to pick up the daughter's '87 740, the PO was washing it for her. We have had it for 5 years with no real trouble.

I always check the appearance of the oil, but what do you look for "staring into the oil filter"?

Eight used cars in the last few years. We must be in about the same stage of life. Also picked up on one of your other posts that you will be involved with a wedding in the fall. Are you loosing a Volvo or gaining a son-in-law? Ha Ha.

Dan
