'L'America...' 700

Just sharing with all the other brickfans my recent sad story. On my way back from a long trip to Montreal, I left my 760 Turbo in front of a restaurant on I 80 in Iowa. Back to my car, I had the extremely unpleasant and dangerous surprise to discover that the front left sgnal unit was gone. Operated with great talent, socket and bulb included. Lucky me, the right one had some scratches. I once saw a movie about post 1989 Albania, L'AMERICA. While understanding such a petty theft in a poor post-communist east-european copuntry, it was hard for me and the rest of my family to understand how someone living in USA can still do this. Well, after arriving home in Colorado, I fully understood: these guys sell them on E-BAY. It is a new and very profitable business. So, if it happens to you next time, think twice before buying from E-Bay: you could buy exactly the same part that was stolen.

Friendly,

Lis
