engine running a little hot??? 120-130

i'm about to drive from nj to AZ and i'm a little worried about the southern heat. in nj summer the car is running temperatures in the space just before the "hot". so its not actually running hot but gets close. i topped off the radiator with water and its still the same. in the radiator is a 50/50 blend plus a 1/4 gallon of extra water that i just topped it off with. oil is fine, any ideas?
